Suggester says: "I can hardly believe that such an amazing scene can really exist. Every time I look at it, I think it must be a painting, and an extraordinary one at that. The full clouds which come down to a clean horizon, and the ships which have clearly seen some use, but are perfectly-lit and beautiful." Replenishment at Sea by ~Djskrilla89

This looks like a painting it's so perfect! O_O It's just surreal how clear everything is. And the ships are just beautiful backed by the clouds.

You are a very talented and painterly photographer.

BB: Heart-Starting Potion? Someone should give some of that to Lucius.
Me: It's the equivalent of adrenalin, it won't work if you don't have a heart to begin with.
BB: What if you added Skele-Gro and a shot of vermouth?
Me: That'd be one stiff drink!

When you look at a person, and you feel like you know them better than themself, then that is only because you know yourself better than they know themselves.

I'd like to second that, at first glance I thought this was a painting. This is an amazing shot.

being a photographer shooting somewhat a little in the military, i can actually see the impact and goodness of this photo. it was a great capture and without a doubt a tough one to take considering the distance you could have been at and the moment during the scene.

Absolutely wonderful! Extremely dry air and moderate lighting creates an impression of a maquettes not real ships. Colors are great and very natural too. And you had a wonderful idea to make a wide - panoramic - view. Perhaps the best piece of maritime photography I have ever seen. Greetings!
Andrew
